| Jonathan has several years of experience helping children, adolescents and adults meet personal, professional and educational goals. He specializes in assisting clients with ADD/ADHD, Executive and Special Education (learning disabilities and social/emotional concerns). As an adult managing and techniques. Jonathan received a B.A. in Communication from DePaul University in Chicago and a M.A. in Learning Disabilities with additional studies in Social/Emotional Disorders from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. His graduate thesis examined ADD/ADHD and the use of medication along with alternative intervention strategies. Jonathan founded and manages Carroll Educational Group (www.carrolleducationalgroup.com) and IEP Experts (www.iepexperts.com). Additionally, he is on the clinical staff at The Child, Adolescent and Family Development Center. Jonathan’s professional memberships include CEC (Council for Exceptional Children), CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), ADDA (Attention Deficit Disorder Association), LDA (Learning Disabilities Association), COPAA (Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates) and IPA (Illinois Psychological Association). Jonathan is considered an expert in the field of education. In addition to helping individuals and families, he is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars highlighting current trends in education. He is a featured guest on ABC, FOX and NBC newscasts in Chicago discussing various topics on education.
